Private Car
No matter from which direction you`ll come, South or North over the Motorway A7 from East or West over the Motorway A2, always take the direction Hanover Fair („Hannover/Messe“). You will be led to City/Fair highway “Messeschnellweg“ B3/B6. Then take the Exit „Laatzen Messe-Süd“ (IKEA).
From South: Go left into the “Straße der Nationen“ and left again to “Kronsbergstraße“
From North (coming from Hannover City): Turn left directly into “Kronsbergstraße“.
After approximately 1 km go left again into “Hildesheimer Str.“ Follow the streat turning half right. Stay on “Hildesheimer Straße“ passing „aquaLaatzium“ and find our guesthouse “Haus Apportin” after approximately 200m. on the right side.
Should you see the Hospital on your right hand side, you went too far!
From the City Centre Hanover you follow “Hildesheimer Straße” (starting from “Aegidientorplatz“ (Aegi). You’ll have to drive for about 10 km strait to our B&B, Pension in Laatzen near Hanover.
Attention: For the navigation system, make sure you´ve got the right address, the City is 30880 Laatzen not Hanover.
Public Means of Transportation
Tram/Metro:
- Coming from Hanover you have to take the underground tram line nr. 2 direction “Rethen“. After slightly more than 20 min. you get out at station: “Laatzen aquaLaatzium“. Go to the right sidewalk of the street and continue walking into the direction of traffic. After 200m. you will find the Guesthouse “Haus Apportin“ on your right side. If you miss the station, just get out on the next one, called “Laatzen Krankenhaus“ and walk back 200m.
- From our hostel (B&B) you can take the tram line number 2 direction “Alte Heide“ which goes directly to Hanover City Center and Hanover Main Station. Tram changes into underground within the ride. (20-25 min.)
Train:
- The station near the fair is within walking distance (1.2 km) from our hotel. The train stop is called: Messebahnhof “Hannover-Messe Laatzen (Expo-Bahnhof)“. It also offers another connection from /or to Hanover Main Station.
Airplane:
- The airport “Hannover Langenhagen” is situated about 22 km from our Guest House driving through the city of Hanover. If you take the highways B6, B3 then A2 and A352 to reach the airport, the average driving time is 40-45 min (ca.30km.).
