Recommendable excursions

Excursion destinations/sightseeing attractions in the immediate vicinity:

Sauna and swimming pool in the “aquaLaatzium”, (approx. 200m.), a fun pool with saltwater pool and large slide as well as sauna area, wellness area and fitness center.
Do something good for yourself and your body.
The “Masch” (50m-10km) is a large water and nature reserve. It begins directly behind our house and invites you to take long walks or bike rides. Here you can see storks, wild geese, birds of prey, beavers and many other animals.
Guided nature tours can also be booked at the nearby NABU.
The “Park of the Senses“, just 400m away, is a place to relax. For example, before or after a visit to the trade fair, as the park is on the way.
Wiesendachhaus (1.5km), an excursion restaurant with a large playground in the middle of the Masch.

Hanover City (approx. 10km) with the New Town Hall, the beautiful Maschsee lake as well as the Marktkirche church and the Nanas on the old town wall is always worth a trip.
Hanover’s nightlife and shopping mile also have a lot to offer.
The Hanover Zoo(11 km), the Tiergarten (11 km) and SEA LIFE Hanover (15 km) are also worthwhile day trip destinations.
The Herrenhausen Gardens (approx. 15km), by day or in the evening for illumination and the Guelph Palace are also recommended for a stroll.
Marienburg Castle(21km), with its many battlements and turrets and sweeping views over the countryside, is definitely worth a visit

The “Green Ring” (leads directly past the house) is a cycle path that always leads along watercourses around Hanover.
The Leine-Heide cycle path(1.5 km) also passes by our house and we are happy to accommodate cyclists.
